Customer Review: The little kettle that could..... <smile>

I have had this little teakettle for quite some time and it does exactly what is supposed to do. There's nothing fancy about the design, it is strictly utilitarian. I purchased it on a Friday sale when the price was right.
Like most Calphalon products, this one is a very well made and it should last for many years.
The only negative, and it is a minor one, is that it has no whistle. If you can live with that shortcoming, I believe you'll enjoy this kettle.

They say a watched pot never boils, but since this 1-1/2-quart café kettle is made from highly conductive hard-anodized aluminum, it might serve as an exception to the rule. The heat-resistant handle won't get too hot, but doesn't stay as cool as the Cool V handles available on Calphalon's other cookware lines.
