Stainless steel 8-quart pasta insert fits Calphalon Triply Stainless 8-quart saucepot(L8608) and Calphalon Triply Copper 8-quart saucepot (T8708)Ideal for corn on the cob, veggies in bulk, or pasta of any shape and size, this hearty 8-quart pasta insert simplifies cooking, draining, and straining. Before cooking, simply slip the perforated liner inside one of Calphalon?s 8-quart saucepots--L8608 stainless steel or T8708 copper--and when ready to strain, remove slowly and place in the kitchen sink. Five rounded bumps on the exterior?s base serve as feet allowing the pan to sit level while leaving room for water to drain. Perforations in abundance cover the bottom and sides to expedite the straining process and steel rivets securely hold two generous loop handles in place. Triple layered for strength and durability, the solidity of 18/10 stainless steel instills confidence at first touch and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
