Customer Review: A pan for your whole cooking life

I bought this to replace it's older twin that was about 20-25 yrs old. My other pans are Cuisinart Ceramic which I dearly love but wanted to replace my favorite long time Calphalon with similar due to confidence in it's long time wear. Not disappointed. You know how some brands are now producing crappy knock offs of their former selves - and Calphalon has some lines that are that way - this one is not. Glad they left it alone. I'm an ex-restaurant owner, committed gourmet cook and fuss about great kitchen products....if you only could own two skillets - you can find them both here at Amazon. Great browning, non stick surface holds up to anything, even heat distribution, nice to pop it into the oven to finish - design for the lid makes it handy to use on other skillets and of course it's glass so you can see when to interrupt what's going on.
