What can I say? It is a deep pan with a cover that can go from the stovetop and into the oven. It is non-stick. It is what I wanted. I have used it several times and it worked well and was easy to clean. It is a good size. I could continue to wax eloquently about it, but this is all there is to it. It is a good price and a quality item.

Use this versatile pan to braise meats, poultry, and vegetables and to cook pasta sauces, stews, chili, and soups. It functions equally well in the oven, to 450 degrees F, or on top of the stove. Its domed glass lid collects and returns moisture to food and permits monitoring of the cooking progress without reducing the inside temperature. For that no-nonsense, commercial-kitchen look, Calphalon's Professional Nonstick II cookware wears a matte finish; to protect the cooking surface, use only plastic, nylon, and wood utensils. The stainless-steel handles are multiriveted for durability and balance. Made of heavy-gauge aluminum, this pan cooks without hot spots or warping, and it's anodized for extra hardness.
